The successful collection of 3 full set (9 points) will grant you the power the eliminate your opponents.

Setting up

  1. Separate the 12 planet cards from the pile and shuffle them. Draw 1 and keep it undisclosed. This card will not be used to play, it will decide the player’s initial set.

Put the rest of the planet cards away.

  1. Shuffle the rest of the cards (area and action) and deal 5 to each player.
  2. Place the remaining cards in the center as a draw pile.

Play

  • To win: Earn 9 points to declare a win. Each Planet area is worth 1 point. The points will only be counted when the player completes the set with all its areas.
  • The tallest player goes first
  • On your turn
  • Draw 2 cards from the pile before playing the cards. If you have 6 cards in hand, you can only draw 1. You cannot have more than 7 cards in your hand at a time.
  • Play up to 3 cards each turn.
  • Place area cards on the table in front of you (face up, disclosed) 'players can choose not to place and hide area cards in their hand base on strategy.'
  • Action cards go in the center next to the draw pile, they can be shuffled back into the draw pile when the pile runs out.
  • Once a set is complete, the player can bank the set: setting it to the side. Then, the set will be out of play and scored.
  • When calculating the points, a player with their initial set in their bank will be given a bonus of +2 points to their total score.

The Planet Area Cards

  • Once a card is placed, it cannot go back into your hand
  • An area card of a planet is placed in front of the player and should be stacked up with each area of the same planet to create a set
  • Any exchanged/stolen planet/area cards go in front of the offensive player that used the Action card. (can't go in the player's hand)
  • There is no limit in how many planets you can place

Attack and Defense

  • A shield card can protect an incomplete set from an attack
  • Shield cards are stackable
  • Moving a shield to another area count as one move
  • An action (steal, trade,  planet capture) cannot be done to the planet areas that are shielded
  • Players can only break a shield with an attack card.
  • An area card that has been attacked will be shuffled back in the drawing pile
  • ‘Just say no’ cancels any actions against your set and can be used even if it's not your turn to counter attack
  • Steal: steal a card from any opponents (a single area)
  • Trade: exchange a card from any opponents
  • Planet Capture: steal an almost complete set (multiple areas)

Banking

  • Banking a set does not count as a turn.
  • If a planet area with a shield on it becomes a complete set, the shield goes to the center draw pile after the set is banked.
