Inspiration
Rainbow Coin Toss Arcade game: the player throw coin onto the rainbows, the point only counts if the coin landed cleanly on a color and not overlapped.
Aesthetic Inspiration
Pixel art using dark and neon colors
Since the the two interactable elements are a saw and glass, we thought that a factory background would be fitting
Playtests Comments
After playtesting the beta version, these are some of the comments we have recieved or observed that affected our decisions to the changes made for the final version.
- The game is very difficult, many players wasn't sure where to click.
- A visualization of the aim of the saw could help the player with the aiming and shooting
- There's no limit to the much force can be put into the saw, so if the player keeps holding down the button, the force increases infinitely and could possibly break the gameplay.
- The winning condition which is to land on all of the 10 targets seemed too difficult. Instead, making a score system where the player have 10 turns and recieve their score out of 10 would make the gameplay less tedious.
